PITTSBURGH — The first egg of a pair of eagles who have settled atop a bluff overlooking the Monongahela River in the Hays section of Pittsburgh was laid Tuesday.
PixController, the company whose surveillance camera captures events at the nest, reported the egg was spotted at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday. [To watch the Eagle Cam, CLICK HERE.]
The eagle pair is the first to build a nest in Pittsburgh in more than 150 years. This is their third year of nesting.
