PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh man was handed his sentence for a drug trafficking conviction.
Brandon Watson, 20, was sentenced in federal court to five years in prison followed by four years of supervised release for breaking federal drug laws, the Department of Justice announced Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Watson was found with 45 grams of crack cocaine, as well as heroin, fentanyl and medetomidine during a traffic stop April 9, 2025. He also reportedly had a gun and $1,100 in cash.
The judge said Watson’s crime was dangerous, and the crack cocaine could ruin lives, per the DOJ.
