Two of the three people inside the truck were shot.

Police said one of the victims, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office as Jamie Romesburg, 28, of Carnegie, died at the scene.

Kenneth Beckel, 25, of Carnegie, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he died late Friday night, according to the medical examiner.

Police released a description of the suspected shooter, saying he's a black man in his early 20s. The man is between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a stocky build and was wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

He was last seen running down Ingham Street away from the scene of the shooting, police said.

Approximately three to four shots were fired, officers said.

"The crime scene is fairly limited to the vehicle - it stopped in the middle of the roadway. There was conversation relative to witness, audible witnesses that heard someone saying, 'Get out,' then the shots were fired," said Pittsburgh police Cmdr. Larry Scirotto.

Witnesses spoke with police, and officers are reviewing surveillance video to assist with the investigation.

The victims involved in the incident were believed to be targeted, according to Scirotto.

The shooting left people who live nearby unsettled.

"It makes me nervous. I don't want to have to come out here and hear (gunshots) and it be somebody I know," said Sean Conley, who lives in the neighborhood.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call police at 412-323-7161 or 911.
