PITTSBURGH — The seventh annual Pittsburgh Soul Food Festival is being held Downtown over Labor Day weekend.
Despite some weather challenges Friday, the festival continued under better conditions Saturday.
The event features African American and other ethnic cuisines, along with vendors, speakers and live music.
Started in 2019, the festival has grown tremendously over the years, according to organizers.
“We actually did an economic impact survey before, and they say we’re doing over $3 million and about 50,000 people,” event producer William B. Marshall said.
The festival runs through Sunday evening on Liberty Avenue and Stanwix Street.
