PITTSBURGH — ESPN personality and former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Merril Hoge spoke to student-athletes at North Hills High School Tuesday about the importance of health and head trauma issues.

Following his speech, Hoge addressed dealing with off-field issues and gave his take on the current state of the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team he feels is on the cusp of being a Super Bowl contender.

“This team is not that far away from being a Super Bowl Champ,” says Hoge.

Hoge played for the Steelers from 1987 to 1993.
