Pittsburgh Travel Showcase highlights wide variety of vacation destinations

PITTSBURGH — A one-of-a-kind travel showcase is underway in Pittsburgh.

The annual Pittsburgh Travel Showcase, taking place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, is the largest travel booking show in the country and the region’s only consumer travel event.

Organizers boast that the event is “unlike any other” and is a convenient one-stop spot for vacation shopping for any traveler. And, they say, it’s never too early to book that dream vacation.

“We are spanning seven continents right here on the showcase floor. We have 16 cruise lines, we have over 28 driving destinations, we have 10 Caribbean island representatives of all-inclusive resorts,” Ida D’Errico said.

In addition to information on global destinations, attendees can purchase a wide array of travel essentials, listen to information-packed presentations, have their passport photos taken, and enter to win giveaways.

The event runs through Sunday. Click here to learn more.
