PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will close for nearly six weeks to do some maintenance.
Spokeswoman Tracy Gray told Channel 11 News that the zoo will close from Jan. 5 through Feb. 13 for routine maintenance and construction.
“Our attendance is normally low at this time of year and it's a good time for us to close. This way we can continue the work and not disrupt our visitors,” said Gray.
