PITTSBURGH — Another big pothole blitz took place in Pittsburgh on Monday.
More than 55 Public Works employees were on the job starting at 6 a.m. to fill the holes.
This marks the third pothole blitz this year.
The workers used cold patch because the asphalt plants aren't up and running yet.
Between January and Friday, a response center has processed almost 13,000 requests, 5,000 for potholes. Thousands of requests have come via phone and 420 were processed from tweets to @pgh311, the mayor's office said.
The neighborhoods that reported the most potholes were Brookline, East Liberty, Shadyside and Bloomfield.
