TRAFFORD, Pa. — Police said a 2-year-old girl dressed in only a onesie was wandering the streets of Trafford alone this week.

The girl's dad, Joshua Moreno, wasn't home when Channel 11 stopped by Thursday night.

A woman who answered the door told Channel 11's Pamela Osborne that the girl never left the front steps of the apartment.

According to police paperwork, a woman spotted the girl before she tried to cross a main drag Monday.

The woman brought the toddler inside her home and waited for police.

Police said when officers arrived so did Moreno but for a short time.  They said he took off running back to his apartment because "He left his Madden game unpaused and needed to pause the game."

Police said they found bottles of moldy formula, old pizza in every room and a Mountain Dew bottle with a hypodermic needle inside.

Moreno's charges include child endangerment.
