Pennix initially failed to appear for a DUI charge, but also had warrants out for assault, robbery and fraud.
An orange Subaru and a black BMW were towed away from the home.
Pennix allegedly used fraudulent information to steal the cars, according to police.
Neighbors said they had no idea that Pennix was a wanted criminal.
“You never know who is next door … We usually keep to ourselves pretty much, though, but we have the kids. They are always playing out and running in both yards. It’s kind of a scary thought,” said Tom Alexander, a neighbor.
Pennix was taken to Allegheny County Jail, where he is waiting to be brought up on charges.
