Police: Brookline bank robber hands teller note saying he has gun

BROOKLINE, Pa. — Police are looking for a bank robber who got away with an undetermined amount of money from a Brookline bank Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said a man walked into the Community Bank on Brookline Boulevard just after noon Wednesday and handed the teller a note that said, "Be quiet and hand me everything in your drawer. I have a gun."

According to police, the man never showed a weapon, but got away with an undetermined amount of money. He fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

Investigators said the robber is a white male, with a beard and mustache. He was wearing a T-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt and a hat.
