EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. — A man is dead after he was shot in East Pittsburgh.
Allegheny County dispatchers said emergency crews were called to Grandview Avenue at 5:14 p.m. on Monday.
Allegheny County Police said a man with a gunshot wound to the chest was found inside a house on the 700 block.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
At around 11 p.m. on Monday, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said that man was Cornell Harris, 21, of East Pittsburgh.
Police say the suspect shooter and another person ran from the house where the victim was found. They went towards Franklin Street and are not in custody at this time.
