SEVEN FIELDS, Pa. — According to a police search warrant, state troopers found child pornography on a computer inside the home of the mayor of Seven Fields.

Authorities said state police seized every computer inside Mayor Ed Bayne’s home last week.

“I can’t comment at this time,” Bayne told Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz Wednesday.

According to the search warrant, troopers found child pornography and seized 24 files, including a five-minute video involving a 9-year-old girl.

Bayne, who has been mayor of Seven Fields since 2006, lives at his home with his wife, three sons and daughter.

His wife, who is a schoolteacher, has taken a leave of absence from work.

Borough council members said they’ve been notified of the state police investigation.

No charges have been filed as a result of the investigation.
