A Springdale police cruiser crashed into a veterinary clinic just after midnight Thursday.
"In the process of responding to the call, he lost control on a very slippery surface, went through a pocket that was untreated and stuck a building," said Springdale police chief Julio Medeiros.
The officer was shaken up but not hurt, and no animals or people were inside the clinic at the time of the crash on Pittsburgh Street.
The building's owner tells Channel 11's Brandon Hudson the clinic will remain open.
"Actually it's not bad. We'll pull the car out. We will put a tarp over it and open it tomorrow," said Kim Linkenheimer.
A section of Pittsburgh Street was closed as crews worked to remove the cruiser.
