MT. PLEASANT, Pa. — Authorities in Westmoreland County have issued a warning after police said they found two bags of Sweet Tarts laced with LSD.

According to police, officers found the laced candy inside a Mt. Pleasant home during a raid Wednesday night.

"That disturbs me because I have four granddaughters and don't want them to get a hold of that," said grandparent Mark Essington.

Authorities said detectives also found painkillers, marijuana and Ecstasy during the raid.

Investigators said people in the house told them they bought the candy but wouldn’t say who sold it to them.

No charges have been filed, but police said they expect to file as the investigation continues.
