SHARON, Pa. — Police say a man is dead and a woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in Mercer County.
Authorities say it happened Sunday around 6 p.m. in Sharon during an apparent domestic dispute in a parking lot near Sharon Regional Hospital.

The man has been identified as William Emmett, 45, of Greenville. He was the administrative director of the emergency room at Sharon Regional Hospital.
His wife, Amy Emmett, was undergoing surgery at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Police say the pair fought over a handgun and each suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
