BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. — Police are investigating two incidents that have parents worried in Bridgeville.

A letter was left in a front yard, threatening to abduct and hurt a child.

The next day, a few blocks away from where the letter was found, children said they were followed by a brown van after getting off the school bus.

“The first thing that goes through your mind is your child and making sure she is OK.  She goes out to play all the time.  It’s scary,” said mother Chrissi Super.

The children said the driver slowed to the speed they were walking.  They ran home. The driver did a U-turn.

Police aren’t sure if the two incidents are connected.

The Chartiers Valley School District has alerted parents.
