Police, medics respond to Shadyside ice cream shop where male got stuck after breaking in

PITTSBURGH — Police officers and medics responded to a Shadyside ice cream shop late Tuesday after a male got stuck after breaking in.

An intoxicated male broke a window to an ice cream shop in the 230 block of S. Highland Avenue and crawled into the basement just before 11:30 p.m., a Pittsburgh Public Safety information officer told Channel 11. He ripped out water lines and pipes before getting stuck next to a water tank, the information officer said.
