UNIONTOWN, Pa. — A pregnant woman said she was attacked by her boyfriend, who threatened to cut her baby out of her womb.
“I was terrified,” said Amanda Starburns of Uniontown.
Channel 11 went to Starburn’s home on Tuesday, where she said she was attacked while being two and a-half months pregnant.
“We were sitting on the couch and the next thing I know, he flipped out,” she said.
Starburn’s said Darryl Clark Jr. of Pittsburgh accused her of cheating and, according to the criminal complaint, held a knife to her stomach saying, “I’m going to kill this baby whether it is mine or not.”
“He grabbed me by my throat. He had me about this high off of the ground,” she said. “He had my head hitting this like seven times.”
Starburn got away and ran down the street to Robert Cullen’s home. She said Cullen is her stepfather.
Clark followed her to Cullen’s, where the two fought. Cullen was stabbed, police said.
Police arrested Clark.
Starburn said the unborn baby is OK. She added her relationship with Clark is over.
