Man shot in Mount Oliver Borough taken to hospital in critical condition

MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — Allegheny County police responded to a shooting in Mount Oliver Borough on Friday night.

The department says County 911 was notified of a shooting on Transverse Avenue near Margaret Street around 9:15 p.m.

First responders found a man shot inside a home. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting and ask anyone with information to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
