WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — A Ringgold High School graduate is facing charges after police said he brought a BB gun on a bus and to his alma mater this week.
Dressed in drag, Sean Begandy, 18, boarded a school bus at a bus stop and rode the bus to the high school campus on Wednesday, police said.
Police said Begandy pulled a black pellet gun out from under his shirt at a security checkpoint at an entrance door. He handed the pellet gun to a security officer, police said.
Begandy told police he rode the bus because he wanted to see his friends. Begandy said he had the pellet gun with him because he was going to Philadelphia in the afternoon to shoot it with his friends, police said.
Begandy graduated from the school last year.
He is charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a weapon on school property and unauthorized school bus entry.
He faces a Nov. 7 hearing.
