Police say teens assaulted man, stole his car

GROVE CITY, Pa. (AP) — Police said two Grove City teens assaulted a school staff member and then stole his car and crashed it.

According to state police, the unidentified 15-year-old boys at the George Junior Republic treatment community on Tuesday assaulted a staff member to obtain his car keys.

The teens then allegedly took the car and wrecked it on Interstate 80, where they were arrested.

George Junior Republic is a nonprofit residential treatment community for disadvantaged youth in Grove City.

They're charged with aggravated assault, robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and escape.
