The fire on the back porch went out shortly after the suspect left the scene, but he returned two hours later, relit the torch and threw it through a window.
Calvin Dripps told Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz that he’s tired of being a victim.
According to Dripps, he’s had things stolen from his home in the past few months, so he set up several surveillance cameras around his yard.
“He came right up here on the porch and threw the thing in my window,” Dripps said.
Those cameras captured the suspected arsonist.
“I am a nice guy. I don’t know why anyone would want to do this to me,” Dripps said.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
“I’d like to talk to him,” Dripps said.
