MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A McKees Rocks woman was arrested early Thursday morning after police said she fought with police officers after a domestic dispute.
According to the police report, Priscilla Harris got into a fight with her boyfriend, Oliver Jackson, outside on Island Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said Jackson was loud, but quickly listened to the officers’ requests. Meanwhile, Harris was yelling and police said she smelled of alcohol.
The officers ordered Harris to allow Jackson into her apartment to get his belongings so he could leave, the report said. Jackson then left without any other incidents, while Harris continued yelling and causing commotion, police said.
According to the report, Harris then began threatening the building supervisor and the officers.
The officers left, but were called back to the scene about 2 a.m. when the supervisor said Harris threw a brick at his maintenance truck.
While the officers were talking to the building supervisor, Harris was screaming obscenities out of her second-floor window, the report said. According to police, she also used ethnic slurs against one of the officers.
Police said the officers then left, but stayed close enough where they could see the scene. According to the officers, they saw Harris then throw pennies at the man’s truck.
The officers came back to the scene, got keys to Harris’ apartment from the supervisor and arrested her.
“My officers did everything to calm her down and it didn’t work. She was disorderly and it’s the law,” Police Chief Robert Cifrulak said.
Harris remains in the Allegheny County Jail on charges of ethnic intimidation, harassment and criminal mischief.
