Police: Women used fake cash to buy iPad, digital cameras at Walmart

SOMERSET, Pa. — Police arrested two women and searched for a third accused of using counterfeit money to purchase electronics at a Walmart in Somerset.

Police said Kimberly Riddick, 27, and Tynita Bailey, 29, both of Dover, Del., used fake $100 bills to purchase an iPad and two digital cameras.

A third woman used the counterfeit money to buy a laptop but was able to get away, according to authorities.

In all, police seized $3,500 in counterfeit money.

Riddick and Bailey are charged with forgery and trademark counterfeiting charges and are being held at the Somerset County jail.
