PITTSBURGH STEELERS INJURY CENTRAL
The Steelers have just one injury to watch entering week one, as cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is listed as questionable to play against the Falcons in Week 1 with a back injury.
Porter’s back is fine at this point — and it’s unclear if it was ever injured — but he has yet to be a full participant in practice since returning from the PUP list after the preseason.
THE LAST TIME
The last time the Steelers faced the Falcons in the regular season, it was also a season opener, as the teams met in Week 1 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Chris Boswell kicked a team-high six field goals as the Pittsburgh Steelers offense did just enough to earn a team a 18-10 victory.
