PITTSBURGH — Primanti Bros. is offering active and retired military members a free sandwich on Veterans Day.
Military members can get a free Almost Famous sandwich on Wednesday when dining in at any Primanti’s location across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.
Jim Prezioso, a spokesperson for Primanti Bros., said the restaurant chain is proud to recognize service members.
“We are honored to be able to serve retired and active military in our restaurants every day,” Prezioso said. “Many of our customers have dedicated themselves to protecting freedom around the world and we’re privileged to be able to thank them in this small way on Veterans Day.”
The free sandwich is the restaurant’s signature, featuring grilled meat, provolone cheese, sweet-and-sour slaw, fresh-cut fries and two tomato slices stacked between two slices of thick Italian bread.
