Rain showers expected to taper off by Monday night

PITTSBURGH — According to Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Kevin Benson, light rain showers will persist into Monday afternoon and are expected to taper off by Monday night.

Benson said clouds and scattered light showers are expected throughout the day. The high temperature will be about 68 degrees.

A few isolated showers could hit the area Monday night into Tuesday morning, Benson said. The low temperature overnight will be about 51 degrees.

Benson said Tuesday is expected to be warmer with a mix of sun and clouds. The high temperature is expected to be about 74 degrees.
