Restrictions scheduled on Parkway North starting Monday for crews to conduct utility work

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — Part of the Parkway North will be restricted starting Monday as crews conduct utility work.

Single-lane and shoulder restrictions are scheduled to begin Monday on southbound Interstate 279 in Ross Township.

Crews from Peoples Gas will perform utility work related to the Jacks Run Road Bridge project.

The restrictions on southbound I-279 will stretch between Bellevue Road and Cemetery Lane.

Work is scheduled to take place nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday morning, Sept. 25, weather permitting.

Traffic impacts will be coordinated around scheduled events at PPG Paints Arena and North Shore stadiums.
