Blek was injured in the crash, but has since recovered and is now living at home with Eslary’s family.

Mary Beth Eslary was also at the parade Saturday, and talked about how the town of Ligonier has rallied around her family since the accident.

“I want to thank the community for all the support and keeping Eric’s memory alive,” she said.

Fort Ligonier Days is a three-day festival that commemorates the Battle of Fort Ligonier, a key engagement of the French and Indian War. This is the 56th year for the festival.
