Ringgold elementary teacher had marijuana vape at school, police say

A Ringgold School District teacher had a marijuana vape while at school, police say.

Carroll Township police charged Tami Marie White, 58, with possession of marijuana Wednesday.

According to the criminal complaint, school administration discovered White had the vape around midday Oct. 14 at Ringgold Elementary School South.

Police claim the vape smelled strongly of marijuana, and a field test showed positive results for the substance.

The vape was turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab for more testing.

Ringgold’s website currently lists White as a Grade 4 teacher.
