None — WILKINS TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Three masked men targeted a popular restaurant in Wilkins Township early Friday morning.

Police said the men, armed with guns, pepper-sprayed two Buffalo Wild Wings workers during the 1:45 a.m. robbery.

Authorities said the men walked to the back of the restaurant where three employees were. The men took money and then pepper-sprayed two of the employees on their way out.

“Three individuals came through the door, had ski masks, gloves, dark colored hoodies,” said Chief Ed Krancic.

Police said the three fled out the back of the building to a housing plan into a waiting car.

The workers were treated and released at the scene.

“People are caught off guard at that time of the evening, and unfortunately, this happens,” Krancic said. “It was unprovoked. The employees did everything properly, turned over the money. We don't know why they were Maced.”

Two of the robbers stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 175 pounds, police said. The third robber was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 300 pounds.

Police said they’re hoping surveillance video will help them solve the crime.  Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
