PITTSBURGH — Fallen rocks closed a major Pittsburgh roadway for hours on Wednesday.
The Department of Mobility and Infrastructure was first sent out to PJ McArdle Roadway on Wednesday morning to investigate reports of a landslide.
City officials tell us that there was no landslide, but rocks fell from the hillside onto PJ McArdle.
A driver was evaluated on scene after their airbags went off due to driving over the rocks, but was not hurt.
PJ McArdle was closed until around 2 p.m. while DOMI inspected the hillside.
