PITTSBURGH — It will be cloudy on New Year’s Eve with temperatures around 40 degrees in the afternoon.
Light rain and snow showers will develop in spots in the afternoon becoming more widespread through the evening. Be prepared for wet weather if you have outdoor plans to ring in 2024.
Rain and snow showers are expected through the evening, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s at midnight with showers transitioning to snow showers overnight.
A few flurries or light snow showers are possible on New Year’s Day, some light accumulation is possible in the ridges and mountains with no other impacts expected at this time.
