PITTSBURGH — Following the death of a man struck by a vehicle in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood, police continue to look for the driver.

Albert Kruszka, of Homestead, was hit Monday afternoon at Second Avenue and Almeda Street. He died Friday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital due to complications from blunt force trauma to the head, according to the medical examiner's office.

Kruszka, 60, owned Kruszka's Auto, located near the Hazelwood intersection where the hit-and-run occurred.

John Reese witnessed the accident.

"He was trying to cross the street and he got hit," said Reese. "The car pulled over for a minute and then took off."
