State Police apprehend Morgantown shooting suspect

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — State police in West Virginia said Friday night that they had apprehended a man wanted in connection with a shooting in Morgantown that left 1 dead.

Shots were fired into a Ford Explorer about 8 p.m. Thursday at Solomons Village, police said. The driver died at the hospital.

West Virginia State Police identified the suspect as Jason Boyd, 22.
