PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed offensive lineman Steven Jones to their practice squad, the team announced on Monday. Jones was among the Steelers’ final roster cuts for the 53-man roster.
Jones had been receiving second-team reps at guard at training camp before suffering an undisclosed injury in early August. While Jones was out, Gennings Dunker replaced him as a second-team guard.
Jones first joined the Steelers on a future contract last January after having spent his rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in all three preseason games for the club, was released, cleared waivers and joined the team’s practice squad.
Jones spent the entire 2025 season on the Steelers’ practice squad. He was not elevated and did not appear in a game.
