PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are looking for three men who robbed a Hill District mini-mart Friday afternoon.

Authorities said Samba’s Mini-Mart on Bedford Avenue was robbed about 2:30 p.m.

The store’s owner said the men pretended to be customers. Two of them distracted the clerk while the third emptied the cash register, police said.

Channel 11's Renee Kaminski reported this was not the first time the store has been targeted. It was also the target of a robbery a few months ago.

Investigators said the man fled the scene on foot.

No arrests have been made in Friday’s robbery. Police are hoping to identify the men by the store’s surveillance cameras.
