NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are looking for a man identified as Richard Thomas Jr., who robbed the First National Bank in North Huntingdon Saturday morning.
The robbery happened about 11:30 a.m. at the bank located on Clay Pike.
Surveillance images provided by police show Thomas, 39, of Munhall, passing a note that demanded money to a teller. Thomas, who did not display any weapons, then walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
According to police, Thomas' vehicle was involved in an accident Sunday morning, but Thomas had not been located.
Authorities said on Saturday that Thomas may have been driving an older model Lincoln, Mercury or Buick vehicle at the time of the robbery. The vehicle is believed to be a larger sized, salmon-colored vehicle with a Grateful Dead sticker on the back window.
Thomas was seen in a parking lot close to the bank prior to the robbery, officials said.
