CARRICK, Pa. — A work truck fell into a sinkhole Friday morning in Carrick as crews worked to fix a broken water line.

The sinkhole was a result of a leak that crews are repairing on a 42-inch line on Brook Street.

The truck, which fell in around 8 a.m. and was out by 9 a.m., did not affect the repairs.

Channel 11's Jennifer Tomazic reported a handful of customers are without water, and Penn American Water Company is providing them with bottled water.

The truck was drivable and no injuries were reported.

Repairs are expected to be completed by Saturday night.
