Pitt surplus auction is open, offering everything from a Harley-Davidson to a meat slicer

PITTSBURGH — In the market for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle?

The University of Pittsburgh wants your bid.

Pitt is auctioning off some of its surplus property, and one of the big ticket items is a 2019 Harley-Davidson FLHTPI motorcycle. Once part of the University of Pittsburgh Police fleet, the bike, which has just under 12,000 miles is now up for bid. The auction for the motorcycle ends on March 22 and the current bid is $10,265.
