PITTSBURGH — UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh was recognized in a prestigious report.
The hospital was named to the U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital Honor Roll for 2026-27, putting it among the nation’s top 10 pediatric hospitals.
UPMC Children’s is now tied for the No. 1 rank in Pennsylvania and tied for No. 1 in the mid-Atlantic Region
Hospital officials said it also earned national rankings in all 11 pediatric specialties evaluated by U.S. News & World Report.
Of those 11 specialties, UPMC Children’s ranked No. 3 nationally in diabetes and endocrinology, No. 4 in pulmonology and lung surgery and No. 10 in nephrology.

The Honor Roll recognizes children’s hospitals that demonstrate excellence across multiple specialties, and hospital officials say UPMC Children’s continued success in the rankings “underscores its role as a national leader in pediatric care, research, innovation and education.”
