UPMC creates buzz for Mother’s Day by dressing up newborns as honey bees

PITTSBURGH — UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital created a buzz this week for new moms celebrating their first Mother’s Day.

Every year, the hospital holds a Mother’s Day celebration, and this year’s theme was “Sweet as Can Bee.”

So, nurses and volunteers dressed up newborns as little honey bees with colorful onesies and hand-crocheted bee hats.
