UPMC to open new GoHealth Urgent Care location less than a mile from another

UPMC did not go far to establish a second location for its GoHealth Urgent Care vehicle in the East End.

After establishing a location on Baum Boulevard near UPMC Shadyside, a former Med Express location the health system bought last year, UPMC is poised to establish a new GoHealth Urgent Care less than a mile away in a former PNC bank branch at the Eastside development along Centre Avenue.

UPMC confirmed the move in an emailed statement after an inquiry spurred by a new “Coming Soon” sign in the window of the vacant space across from Motor Square Garden.
