HARMAR TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A vacant home was destroyed in an early morning fire.
The Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company says crews were sent to Rich Hill Road in Harmar Township just after 3 a.m. Saturday for reports of a house on fire.
Arriving firefighters found the vacant two-story home fully engulfed in flames with live power lines down.
Because of “heavy fire load and difficult water supply,” a second alarm was called.
Photos shared by the structure were destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters were on scene for four hours.
