Vampire Bambi? Fanged deer spotted for 1st time in 60+ years

A deer with fang-like canine teeth has been spotted in northeastern Afghanistan, more than 60 years after the species was last confirmed to live there, NBC News reports.  WATCH VIDEO!

The Kashmir musk deer, Moschus cupreus, was observed by scientists in 1948 but had not officially been recorded there until a team from the Wildlife Conservation Society, Leeds University and Nuristan province, Afghanistan, reported seeing the creatures.
