VERONA, Pa. — A person was hit by a vehicle in Verona on Tuesday.
Information shared by the Verona Police Department said officers were called to the 500 block of Wildwood Avenue at 3:39 p.m.
A vehicle parked in a driveway was placed in park, but began to drift onto the roadway.
Police say that vehicle hit a “female pedestrian” before striking another vehicle and a nearby pole.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Lower Valley EMS, police say.
An investigation is ongoing.
