Vehicles stuck in floodwaters amid heavy downpours in Allegheny County

MCCANDLESS, Pa. — Vehicles became stuck in floodwaters as heavy downpours passed through Allegheny County on Wednesday.

Allegheny County dispatchers say emergency crews were called to Old Perry Highway near Pine Creek Road in McCandless at 10:55 p.m.

Two vehicles were found, both partially submerged in the water.

No injuries have been reported.

This came while Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Washington counties were placed under a Flash Flood Warning.

Drivers are reminded to avoid driving through flooded roadways.
