VERONA, Pa. — Verona Gun Safe was back open today after two people busted through the window just before 4 a.m.
The front window that faces Allegheny River Boulevard is now boarded up.
Store employees told Channel 11 that the people who broke in didn’t get away with any weapons.
The suspects ran off before police got to the store, but investigators found surveillance video.
Video from a doorbell camera shows two people walking around the building just before the break-in. You can see their hoods are up, and investigators say they were wearing masks.
So far, no one has been charged, but police say they are following up on several leads from the surveillance video.
Investigators say the suspects took off down Allegheny River Boulevard toward Oakmont in a light blue Honda sedan.
We have learned the ATF is involved in the investigation.
