Victim rushed into surgery after being stabbed in Sheraden

PITTSBURGH — A male victim was rushed into surgery after he was stabbed in Sheraden on Monday.

According to Pittsburgh police, officers were called to the 2900 block of Zephyr Avenue for reports of a male stabbed at 7:18 p.m.

Once on scene, first responders found a male with stab wounds to his chest and neck area.

Officers removed the victim from the home and medics took him to a local hospital. He was rushed into surgery and is said to be in critical condition.

Weapons were found on scene.

No one is in custody at this time.
